I bought this brush to clean out the debris from my iphone speakers because I had seen being used at the Apple Store. Now I have used it to clean the speakers of all my electronic devices. This brush works the best compared to all of the different kits offered on Amazon.

Several months ago I went to the Apple store because everything was muffled/hard to hear on my iphone, even with the volume turned all the way up. The guy who helped me, used a brush like this to gently sweep across the speaker to clean it. He also used a tacky mounting putty, (something like this: Scotch 860 Adhesive Putty, Reusable, Removable, 2 Oz, 4 Pieces/Pk, White) to press on the speaker holes and lift out dirt and makeup. It works perfectly now, and months later when it clogged up again, I just did what he did, and it worked great!

I knew I wanted one when I saw the Genius Bar using it to clean ports. And I kept putting it off because of the price. I still think the price is high, but it’s quality.

I am embarrassed to say I have gone to the Apple Genius Bar twice now for speaker problems with my iPhone. Turns out there was just dirt and lint stuck in the speakers! This is the EXACT TOOL used at the Genius Bar! No need for future embarrassment - now I can take care of my lint myself!
