This has become my favorite Ingot mold when making jewelry.

Just arrived so I have not used this yet BUT - the handle is angled at about 40- 45 degrees making this awkward to carry. Granted, it will not be carried with molten metal but at least a 30 deg or less would be more comfortable to carry. The pictures showing the item give the impression of lesser angle. I'll keep the item as it will not be carried often.

This thing wasn't like the picture at all. The picture shows a beautifully cast rectangle with the seperate divider spanning the interior length beautifully. In actuality it is thinner steel, bent to shape, and then welded together. The result is something that has gaps here and there and isn't nearly as robust as the one shown. I think it is thick enough to not warp much over time, but definitely not how it should be, and not as shown. But the bigger issue is the divider bar not extending the full length. There is a good 3-4mm gap on one side. So whenever you pour molten metal into it, it will flow around the end.... Not a very useful mold like that.

At Devil n Dove, this casting mold has been a great tool for making our own silver and gold ingots. It’s solid, well-built, and holds up to high heat without warping. The ingots release cleanly, making it easy to refine and reuse metals for our jewelry projects. A must-have for anyone working with precious metals!

Sure it's not pretty but hey this ain't no fashion show. It has ugly welds that look like a blind child welded it with a nail attached to a car battery, but it's rock solid and does what it should.Just make sure to oil it and torch it hot BEFORE you pour your metals. 4/5 star on this guy
