Tekton Socket Rails are universal socket organizers that securely hold 1/4 inch drive sockets and bit sockets. Rail capacity may vary based on individual socket diameters. Place sockets onto the clips to store them loosely, or twist them clockwise onto the clips to lock them in place. Detent bumps on the clip tabs engage with the socket to keep it secure, even when on-the-go. Sockets with only two detent grooves, such as impact sockets, will not engage with detent bumps on the tabs if placed incorrectly. Lock the rails into a tray with the keyhole slot. To release, press the button beside the keyhole latch and slide the rail out. Our rails are molded from a strong, rigid, and impact-resistant ABS polymer. This gives you a stiff and well-supported product suited for supporting the weight of the sockets.

I almost didn't buy this because of all the complaints that the sockets falling off. The sockets don't actually snap on/off like they do on some socket organizers. For this product, they slide on/off and require a twist to lock/unlock. There are no instructions included, so if I didn't read about "twist-to-lock" in the detailed product description, I probably would have been another 1 star reviewer.Everything is plastic, so not sure how this will hold up long term, but it is an improvement over the little plastic bags I've been using.

Decent tool for line maintenance, helps me see if one is missing and I can grab the entire set and take it with me. Holds the sockets pretty well.

Twist lock mechanism works on all my clips.Easy to snap off extra clips. I was able to mix and match 1/4 and 5/8 sockets on a single organizer for my tool kit.The clip positions hold their place without shifting, but they can be moved. I find pressing down on the socket and then moving up/down to repositions on the organizer’s length.Durability unclear though and will report back if issues.

Most of the holders secure sockets nicely. Too bad some don't! I was able to "spread" a protrusion a bit to hold the sockets. For the price, it should be far, far better.I made a huge mistake and am removing my line "DO NOT BUY"! These rails are good and if I would have read very closely, the instructions on Amazon, and had the manufacturer placed a short instruction on how to use, in the package, I would have understood how to use: put socket on the rail and twist. It will hold. To remove, reverse the twist. These hold well.

I’ve converted all my sockets to these twist lock style organizers. These and Ernst. Get them.

It's a shame Tekton would put It's name on this poorly executed product. It has one job and it failed. The sockets slip right off. If you're looking for quality this is not it. The product is robust and bulky and they did not use the tiny ball bearing other products use to secure the socket. I was just disappointed.

Tekton & Ernst are the same racks and clips. Ernst provides socket labels and Tekton provides an extra clip instead. I love the convenience of one handed insertion and removal of sockets. Heavy plastic and can be made double sided with purchase of additional clips. The twistlock is said not to work well with impact sockets for those plain duralcok clips are recommended.Made in USA.Jay

Some of the attaching nubs don’t seem to be exactly the right size. Half sockets/extensions fall off easily. There are better examples of these rails on Amazon.

I like the twist lock. Keep them unlocked in the tool box, lock them if you are bringing the rail with you.
