This telescope has a good aperture and comes with useful accessories, but the stability could be better. The mount feels unsteady, making adjustments difficult. The optics are decent, but not as clear as expected. Works for beginners, but not the best option for serious use.

It's a good but could be better first time telescope. It depends on your needs and expectations. On one hand, it's not difficult to put together, if you take your time. If you're expecting to see lot's of planets, that won't happen with a telescope in this price range. It's nice to have the cell phone attachment but it's iffy getting a good picture. In some ways, I got a picture of the moon about the same quality as the telescope. Note: I use a Samsung S22 phone that's particularly good at pictures like this. So, in the end, it's a good telescope but not great. Over time, I'll see if I can appreciate it looking at things further than the moon.

It is bigger than I thought. It is very stable and works very well.
