It does have a bit of a give but not too bad. I'm 66 female, about 225lbs. I was comfortable using this ladder. I put foam at top to lean it against camper. Was easier to get on top of camper than stretching over from an A frame ladder.

Great price, light, convenient. I wish I had spent alittle more and got a A frame able ladder, but for the price, this ladder works OK. I wouldn't go to max height on it but that's me.

Very well made. I was a little confused about the bottom support part. Overall impression of the materials used and quality was fantastic!! It was offered at a decent price. Small and compact, doesn’t take up a lot of space.

.... easy to use and easy to store. Was originally concerned with the amount of plastic being used, but after receiving and test using I am impressed ! No concerns here - and I will store it indoors shaded so future UV exposure will be no problem. Recommended !

The ladder is sturdy and pretty heavy, I don't how it operates though, you may pinch your fingers one day, it is just not intuitive.
