This is the perfect tool for opening and closing the skylights in our kitchen. The skylights are just under 10 ft off the floor, and the telescoping of this tool allows me to easily engage the mechanism for operating the skylights. It’s easy to use. I wish I had bought it sooner!

Very lightly constructed with push-button adjustment. I doubt it will last more than a season. Would have been very inexpensive to put some additional material into it and make it last a lifetime.

Poles were very light weighted and felt like they would break easily. One pole’s handle actually comes off when using it, making it hard to open/close skylights with the plastic handle.

The pole is lightweight and well-made, but I had to alter the hook to get it to fit over the eye-hook/screw that operates my skylight window. This problem might be unique to my particular windows, but I would caution others to measure the diameter of the eye-hook screw on the their window and refer to the diagram of the hook that is shown with the pole specifications.
