installation was straightforward. I changed only the main (biggest) board. But then a firmware update was required, followed by a visio update in order to get the tv working.

My initial issue was a lack of power to my tv. It had worked fine - but at one point simply no longer got any power. I purchased this kit. Replacing the existing power board was straightforward however - once I powered on the tv - I only got pink colored bars on the screen. Not sure what was up but this board did not correct the issue with my tv.

Save this Smatcast Vizio from the landfill. Board was simple to swap and did the trick. I was reluctant at first, but super happy I did.

The motherboard worked immediately. Once I turned on it fixed the problem that was happening with the previous motherboard. It’s really easy to replace.
