I been using my grinder for about a year. I love the power and the foot controler this is a good product at a good price. You can't go wrong with this one.

The quality of the motor is good. I'd be willing to pay more if the foot control was heavier duty. It's plastic. A metal foot control would stay in place better. And be more durable.

I use it mostly for woodworking and a little bit of work on rocks and wampum and it works great very powerful and accurate power when you need it with the foot pedal

In general it seems to be sturdy. I like the keyed chuck and the hand piece is shaped well, but that same hand piece grows so hot (and quickly too) at higher speeds that I have to use a glove (and, yes, I packed the cable and hand piece with white lithium prior to use). Also, I'm not crazy about the foot pedal idea. It might work better if it somehow had detents for constant speed, like my old Dremel. Problems aside, I like the product and its price point. I'll use it whilst saving up for a Foredom.

For the money it is a “get you by†unit. The torque is so great that when you depress the foot pedal the motor twists so badly it pulls the shaft from your hand. I had to mount mine on a board coming down from the ceiling and strapped it in with metal strapping. It is louder than I would like compared to all others I have owned. The foot pedal is a little spongy, takes some getting used to. The hand piece can heat up with extended use. Remember to grease the shaft well when you get it. Pros: the flexible shaft is coved with bendable metal versus rubber. That part is amazing. I’ve been a goldsmith since 1979 and now have arthritis and carpal tunnel and this shaft takes so much pressure off my wrist and fingers. The hand piece is very comfortable also. Really for the money, you can’t go wrong but not sure how long it will last yet. Even my more expensive units have crapped out in just over a year. Would I order it again? Probably not but it is worth it for the price, nice to have as a second or third back up unit.

Seemed like a really good deal. I needed it to fit 1/4" shanks and double checked to make sure that this was listed as such. But at most, I could get the chuck to open to 5/32". Might otherwise be a decent tool, just not labeled correctly.
