Once I got the fixture up, it looks good and provides good illumination. Pretty well engineered for the price point. It did not come with rods, as some have reported - just long plastic-coated cords about 1/2" thick. The cords are long enough to support an installation on a 9' or 10' ceiling, so if you are installing on an 8' ceiling as I was, you need to shorten the cords. I was able to coil the excess cord into the round ceiling mounting pan with no gap between the pan and the ceiling. It was tricky, however. Installing the cylindrical glass covers was also tricky. The handle on the tool supplied to tighten the lock nuts holding the covers in place is not long enough, so that you are forced to tighten the nut with your hand inside the cover, which is difficult. The instructions twice suggest hiring an electrician to install the fixture, which, for some people, is probably good advice.
