The bump stops do work amazing. i did a 6 inch long arm lift on my Tj and then the stock upper bucket too far forward causing a arching of the spring making the spring sit crooked in the lower vs upper bucket. Using this kit you cut off the upper bucket and locate the new upper bracket farther back aligning the spring and bump stop to the lower pad. Now it sits perfectly vertical utilizing the entire spring instead of bending it in half. It drastically improves the ride. You do need to measure full compression and set your bump stop height with or without the supplied coller spacer or add a puck style bump stop extensions to the axle so the bump stop bottoms out before your shock go to full compression. I gave 4 stars because the directions are not very good. Teraflex youtube video is much better at showing the install.
