Replaced a 2hp Briggs on an old McLane edger with a 3hp. The original engine was a 5/8" PTO shaft and 3hp has a 3/4". This was perfect OD for V belt and correct 1/2" belt groove. the square key also fit from my 3hp donor. All in all worked perfectly and very pleased with quality, fit and finish.

My McLane edger came with a B&S engine with a 5/8†shaft. I upgraded to a Honda with 3/4†shaft. This is just what I needed - fit like a glove…

Replaced the old Briggs engine on my tiller with a new Predator engine, but couldn't get the old pully off without bending it. This one is much beefier, and it got put on the new shaft with plenty of never-seize. What can be said?... it grabs and moves the belt when it's supposed to, and lets it smoothly slide over the surface when the tension is released. And two set screws to ensure that it doesn't move, even with all the never-seize on the shaft.It shipped quickly and came a couple days later.

I replaced the drive pulley on an old garden tiller. I originally replaced it with an aluminum pulley but found that the aluminum pulley would grab the belt even when the tension was relaxed so that the tiller would not stop. The steel pulley works much better. It transfers power when the belt is taught, but allows the belt to slip when tension is released.
