Great for when I decide to smudge the whole house and don't want my fire alarm to call the fire department on me. Just wrap the fire alarm with this here thingy and you could produce as much smoke as you can in the house without it going off.*do not keep these on all the time so it alarms you in case of fires or other dangers- these covers do the job well so unless it melts off in a fire the alarm wont go off*

My fire alarm keeps going off in my apartment, even if I’m just boiling water. So I had enough and decided to buy these covers and they work great! Does the job and fits perfectly over my fire alarm. Very stretchy and fits like a shower cap. I was able to fit 3 over my fire alarm! 👍🏽

My smoke alarm is located right outside the guest bathroom where I keep my cat's litter box. The dust from the litter box (I'm assuming) was what was regularly setting off my smoke alarm. It was going off randomly and I just couldn't pinpoint any other cause. Since I put the cover over it, the alarm has not gone off at all. It's only been three days, but I think it's working. I'm happy and my two cats are no longer freaking out. Peace restored.

I bought these to keep the smoke detector in my woodworking area clean. Works as advertised. Can be reused a bit if you take care. Will fit a square style nest detector if needed. I put them on and off any time I make fine dust.

Doesn't do it's intended job for cooking, found that a child's shower cap worked better because it wasn't porous and didn't allow the smoke to pebetrate the astic and set off the detector.
