Tetherball has long been a staple of playground fun, and after bringing one into our backyard, I can confidently say it’s a game that stands the test of time. With its simple concept and engaging gameplay, tetherball is a fantastic way to get kids (and adults!) outside and active. The ball is just the right size for both children and adults, making it versatile for all ages.

Have had this for 5 days and my 6 and 10 year olds, plus parents, have enjoyed it a lot so far. Feels sturdy, very easy to put together, we used water in base but will probably go with sand in summer time. Great value for the money. Came in large cardboard box but easy to move too. Recommend.

This tetherball set is a must have for any household with kids, particularly boys. This game gets by boys out and about, active on hot and cold days. It comes with a hand air pump and everything you need. I recommend better rope maybe from plastic? However the rope has held up so far. Its just a bit too long, you may need to tie it up or cut it. Overall, I liked the ball that comes with this set. Its durable, heavy duty and withstood extremely hot weather, rain and wind. Its a great beginning set for kids and adults alike. No issues with leaking from the base.

I waited to review this product until I had it a while to see how it stands the test of time (purchased in the spring of 2024). Overall, it's a good product: Easy to put together, poll is strong and it's pretty stable once the base is filled with water. This being said, the tetherball rope did not hold up. After 5 months of use, it totally shredded at mid-length and broke. It may be due to a slight design flaw in the pole. there is a screw that sticks out toward the top of the pole that rubs the rope as it twists around the pole causing it to slowly cut away at the rope. Or, the rope is just low quality and sucks. either way, expect to have to replace the tetherball rope frequently if you purchase this product.

I LOVED playing tether ball in school, and this feels just like what I remember and I am thoroughly enjoying playing again. The ball inflates nicely, it comes with a hand pump and two inflation needles and it only took a short time to inflate by hand. If you're a tether ball fan, this ball is great! Teach your kids how to play, they'll love it too!
