I'm using these clever hooks to hold a 6' step ladder in the garage. Very sturdy and I'm no longer worried about my ladder getting knocked over and scratching the car.

I originally bought two of these so I could hang my wheel barrel and this ladder. Surprise! I didn't actually look at my wheel barrel which is plastic and has curved edges. These don't hang with this because it's meant for a sharp edge wheel barrel. Needless to say I'm happy with the ladder, and can use it for some other garage thing. Very sturdy, probably need to hit a stud if you did a wheel barrel, but the amount of force from the ladder is minimal so just drywall is fine.

Overall they did what they are supposed to. The welds on a few of the hangers I bought were not the greatest but they worked for small ladders I had. Since the mount holes are one above the other, you can screw them directly into a stud. The downside to this is if you want them centered and the studs in your wall are not centered so you have to use the low quality Fasteners, unless you happen to have something more heavy duty to use instead. Overall they do what they are supposed to and is a good value for the money

These are just right with my penchant for using studs for hanging objects off the wall. There are two screw holes in line to get the top and bottom. These safely hold the wheel barrow and ladder.

These work great for hanging are ladders gets them off floor. Strong. Good size

The brackets are fine, but the screws that hold the backet are terrible. The screws all break off.

I really appreciate someone finally came up with a design to hang a ladder or step ladder that 1). can be attached to a single stud and 2). is not obtrusive. I am using this to hang an 8-ft ladder in a storage closet for access to the attic; also, I am using it to hang a small kitchen step stool out of the way in our garage entry. In both instances, it is nice to hang this to a single-stud and not have to worry about stud spacing. Also, it is an attractive black finish with matching black screws. Overall, this is excellent quality for the price and it is well thought out for its purpose. I highly recommend it. And at this price point, it doesn't hurt to have 2 of them in case you find another need to hang something whether in the house where appearance matters or somewhere else.
