The Texas Instruments TI-30X IIS 2-Line Scientific Calculator features two-line display and other advanced features users get with the TI-30X IIS. The display shows the equation you are creating on the top line, and the numbers or symbols you are currently entering on the second line. Once the equation is solved, the results are displayed on the second line, and you can use the four arrow keys on the front of the calculator to edit the original equation in any way you like for a recalculation. Better still, pressing the up arrow repeatedly lets you browse through a cache of dozens of previous calculations, meaning you can look back to see the answer to a problem. The device uses solar power when possible but can fall back on the internal batteries (which are included) if there isn't enough light. There are three angle modes (degrees, radians, and grads), scientific and engineering notation modes, and even one- or two-variable statistical modes. Five variables can also be assigned to their own memory slots. The calculator comes with a Snap-On cover that fits on the back of the device. Bought this for a college class requiring a more standard calculator over my graphing one. Out of most standard scientific calculators out there this is probabaly on the high end. It has all functionality and all features needed for calc, alg, trig, etc.... classes. Only complaint is it's a bit slow but it's very compact for travel, and very easy to use. So far battery life has been good, buttons are all very responsive, and I've had no other issues either, would reccomend for any math class or for general use as a home calculator.

I like the display size and the number of functions this calculator can handle for most calculations, including scientific or engineering type calculations. It is not a fancy programmable model like other available models on the market, if that function is needed I find it best to use a desktop computer.

the quality is quite nice for the price and the buttons feel so nice, i like how it comes with instructions on how to use the calculator and it’s quiet and can be carried anywhere! overall: great for general science classes and can do mostly anything an expensive one can

I have been using this for 4 years. Functionally it has everything you need for university math. It's super handy calculator that ended up being more useful than my TI-84, due to the fact that TI-84 is not allowed during some exams.

The calculator did not arrive in the original packaging done by TI. It was bubble wrapped with the original documents. When I turned on the calculator and checked the history, it was clear that this piece was used. It is not worth to buy a used piece for €27.99.
