I just set up a massive terrarium for my Copes Tree Frogs. It is 36" tall x 24" wide x 18" deep. The bottom is covered in a layer of coconut fiber substrate with a layer of Frog Moss over that. Every square inch is covered in the moss.I want to add some isopods and springtails to the substrate, so I thought I'd add some leaf litter. These leaves had very few broken leaves. They are nice whole leaves. There isn't any other debris that should not be in the bag. No cigarette butts or any other trash. Also I have not seen any insects, insect eggs, mold or fungus.I am happy with the results. The terrarium looks really nice. I do have some crickets living in the terrarium too. "The ones that got away" at feeding time. The crickets are using these leaves as shelter too.

Nice and dry, no bugs, no sticks. Was an awesome addition to my isopod breeding tank and my paludarium.

These leaves are crested gecko approved! Been a great addition to my bioactive tank. These are great leaves, haven’t broken down too fast. The bag is plenty big for most cages, if you’re looking for moderate coverage.

The Lone Star Leaf Litter Texas Live Oak is an excellent addition to my reptile enclosure. The leaves are clean, dry, and natural, creating a realistic forest floor look that both enhances the aesthetic and provides enrichment for my reptiles. My reptiles love exploring and burrowing under the leaves, and they seem to feel more at home with the added coverage. The quality of the leaf litter is fantastic—there are no broken or crumbled pieces, and they hold up well even in a humid environment. They also help with moisture retention, making them a great choice for tropical setups. Plus, the quantity is generous, giving me plenty to work with for multiple enclosures or to refresh as needed. If you’re looking to add a natural, functional, and visually appealing element to your reptile habitat, this leaf litter is a must-have. Highly recommend!

This is a nice large bag of leaves. They are dried and smell very nicely when you first open the package. I am using them as enrichment/decor for my box turtle’s enclosure (48” L x 24” W) and they easily cover the floor space with tons left in the bag. My turtle has enjoyed them so far and I like how they help mimic a forest floor, which is the natural habitat of my species of turtle. They also seem to do fine in the moist environment of my turtle’s enclosure.

They are oak leaves.Great quality, although some arrived crushed due to shipping. I use these in all 4 of my bioactive tanks as leaf litter/food for my microfauna. My beardies love running around on top of the litter, and my isopods+microfauna love it in the tropical tanks. These are good quality and I recommend them!

As a person that owns 9 acres of woods and didn't save enough leaves for the critters . . . believe me when I say I hate buying leaf litter. Fall is so close . . .BUT this comes in a thick plastic bag as shown. The leaves are whole despite shipping in a plastic bag, look quite clean, and smell fresh. No hitchhikers.Easily worth the price if you're in a pinch.
