I bought this as a Christmas gift for my quickly unexpectedly busy mother in law. She landed an amazing new job and was having a bit of difficulty chugging around several different bags for all her work things. She specifically asked for a bag of this sort and of course I came to amazon first. One of the first ones I came across was this one. I wont lie I was pretty scared ordering something so important without seeing it first. Mostly because I knew how much she would be using it and I wanted to be sure it would last. I decided to take a chance and ordered it. Upon arrival I was very very pleased with this bag. I of course took it out the packaging right away and played/inspected it. I'm pretty certain I fell in love with it more than I was expecting to. There are so many positive things I can say about this bag. For starters its made very well, much better than I was expecting honestly. The whole this is put together very will. I adored the detail all over the bag and there was absolutely no doubt that this could be stylish yet very practical. The file section is also made very well and I have absolutely no doubt that it will last my mother in law a while to come. She has been using it for a few weeks now and has had zero complaints. She gets compliments on it all the time. Not only that but she is loving the extra space and easiness all in one bag. I will definitely be recommending it to my friends and other family as well as my mother in law. If your second guessing this bag go for it. Its extremely well made and worth every penny. I have no doubts others would enjoy this bag as much as my mother in law has.

This is a great file folder transport/organizing tote. I have had this style before but this one is MUCH better quality as the dividers are made of plastic as opposed to paper, and the sides are a mesh fabric-like material as opposed to the heavy-duty paper of the ones I have had in the past. It holds about a dozen folders and is very chic looking. As an Interior Designer I am always looking for fun, useful, good-looking work products!

This is so chic. I'm a "church lady" and attend my share of meetings and such. It tames the clutter, is great for minutes/agendas, notes, music and serves many purposes. If it were offered in other colors and textures, it would be a phenomenal item. Cream or White=bridal, honeymoon, caterers. Blue or Green=health. Yellow or Pink=vacation. Animal print, purple and red, PLEASE! It fills the bill (and makes carrying important papers, like bills) a pleasure. I intend to buy another to keep on hand as gift for someone just entering the workforce.

This is such a great idea for toting around files in style, and I get so many compliments on it. This bag only holds up to letter size paper/files, not legal size. I've had this bag for two months, and bought it for $30, so the price was right, and I would definitely buy it again. With that said, I think it could use a few improvements: The bag gets pretty heavy once all the files and papers are put inside. The shoulder straps are too thin, and really dig in to my shoulder, so it's not too comfy to hold for very long. I think that thicker (maybe even slightly padded) straps would help distribute the weight better, so that it is not so uncomfortable. It is inconvenient not to have a zippered area to store things I need with me, like stamps, a small stapler, staples, pens, highlighters, clips, etc. I think that the clasp along the top should be a little longer, since it is a really tight fit once all of the sections of the accordion files are filled. Also, once you unclasp it, the front completely flops down (think of a slinky), making it impossible to grab something quickly with one hand. It would have been nice if the bottom was also accordion, so that I could slide it forward along with the top--it would provide more stability and allow me to work from it, similar to a file box. Even with some of the issues I mentioned, I still give it 4 stars because it is unique, attractive and definitely serves its purpose of keeping my files neat and organized. .

I just wish the sides of it were wider so I could fit more files in it. But I got it at a discount, saved $12 as it was an Amazon Warehouse mark down, maybe because it had two small, not very noticeable scratches in the faux leather. But I like the tote, very sturdy, and classy looking.

I need this bag for work, as I travel with numerous files and forms to clients homes. I previously used these types of bags that I found in various stores - some with very fun patterns and colors. The problem with those was that the inner files were made of paper and I was replacing those bags every few months because they tore and broke over time. This bag has inner files made of adurable plastice/faux leather material so they are not only lightweight but are not tearing with heavy daily use. The strap is also long enough to put over the shoulder and a nice clasp keeps it shut. Although is only comes in black it is a great bag and is exactly what I need.

Second one I purchased. The second one was as a gift to a fellow real estate agent. Everybody is jealous and asks me about this when I bring it for real estate. The original one has taken the pounding of a few years and is a bit worn, but is still doing its job. And I'm carrying a lot of heavy files/forms in it.
