When it arrived, I thought it looked like a cheap sponge on an even cheaper roller. I almost returned it. The thing I was going to order in its place would not have arrived in time for my project, so I decided to keep this. It worked very well. Fight your urge to return it and give it a try. The only weird thing is I cleaned it for a long time and could not get the suds out. I only rinsed with water, so the suds either came from the texture I applied or they were already in the sponge. I wish I could buy a replacement of just the sponge as I do not need a second cheap rolling cage.

This is a nice sized roller and very absorbant, It'll still drip if you over saturate it like any paint roller but you can get some really nice textured coverage with it.It puts me in mind of a sea sponge which isn't relevant but I think it pretty cool. If you want to jazz up your walls a bit and not just have boring smooth typical looks this is a good option to go with.

My walls are all textured in my house. Since we are repairing a water-damaged wall inside one of our closets, I didn’t want to leave it smooth. The Bancoo paint roller textured the wall, to the point that when you glance at it, you can’t see the difference. It’s a very close match, and since the wall is in the closet, it’s not a big deal. It will also be great around the house for small repairs.

Great for custom paint techniques and faux finishes on interiors. Similar to a rubber stamp like material, this will def last for more than a few uses with proper care and cleaning. Well made product. Create unique finish for projects, use with multiple layers and combination of colors for best results.
