Very well designed. The inner metal cup is removable, making cleaning very easy because you don't have to remove the colored holder. The colored holder portion is very stable when screwed tightly, my chickens SAT on them and they stayed put. In effect, this gives 2 food/water holders per unit if your pet doesn't need the inner up locked to the cage for tipping. I would buy again, but wish I had purchased a larger size.

My little dog kept stepping in the water bowls, and food; then prancing all over the place with muddy dog food paws. I separate the two bowls on opposite sides of the kennel so she can’t put dog food in the water as well. Or try to swim in it.I gave her an auto refill container that she either made muddy, clogged or tipped. Then a gerbil bottle attached to a cage wall that she didn’t touch (panic on the inside worrying about a possible dehydrated dog). Anyhoo. This has worked the best. Easy to clean and apply. We use it in the house kennel and take one along for the travel kennel.

Bought these for my ferrets.GREAT BOWLS /IF/ you have vertical bars or 1" square bars. Unfortunately my ferrets are in a Critter Nation cage which has 1/2" horizontal bar spacing which the post for these bowls does NOT fit through and the stabilizing slit is a vertical one so these bowls ended up being gifted to my mother for her puppy when he has to spend a long work day in his crate. (oh well, he can't flip them HAHA we win either way)

These bowls are nice - the metal bowl goes in and out of the plastic holders with ease - but they are smaller than I expected, even having read the dimensions. I haven't bothered to measure them to see if they are the size advertised, but these are for a small dog. I only wanted them for bedtime treats when my 50 lb. pup goes into his crate for the night so they will suffice for that. But the plastic nut/knob is not wide enough to secure the bowls to the side of the crate very well. He gets it off easily and then plays with the bowl and holder. I expect the plastic nut will easily become stripped and useless. I would not recommend these bowls for anything but light use for small dogs.

The outside is plastic but the inside bowl does comes out. It’s easy to clean and great for my pets. Holds up well.

This is definitely worth the money. I would definitely recommend and also I will be buying another set soon. I have two ferrets, they have a pin and a cage it tiredness switching dishes back and forth. That's why I need another. I really love this set and how it comes with dust pan and broom. Thank you.
