There's not a ton you can say about these turkey lifters, other than that they get the job done. The strong stainless steel prongs held up our 12lb Thanksgiving turkey with ease to allow the turkey to rest on a carving plate and put the veggies back in the oven. Though they work as is, the coated handle portion could be more solid, but they don't bend or stop working so it's ultimately fine. I'm just clumsy and my fingers slip.

I cooked a 15 pound turkey on thanksgiving in a large turkey bag in the oven. When the time came to serve, I used these prongs to lift the turkey out of the oven bag and set on the platter. Made it super easy and smooth without any slipping or dropping. Great buy.

Well made but light-weight. OK for a 12 lb. turkey but barely able to manage a 20lb. They are made of 4mm wire, need to be made of at least 5mm stock to be heavy duty.

The tines are covered with silicon caps with the forks each being bagged in plastic with the set then bagged in bubble wrap which is inserted into a resealable plastic bag. Will be a bit of work when removing but it really is nice to avoid potentially pricking or stabbing as these will probably be buried in a storage drawer.These forks have two tines but seem to be entirely made of a single piece of metal which should help reduce potential wearing or breakage due to metal fatigue.The handles are wrapped in silicone which will help avoid the potential for slippage when lifting and moving something as heavy as a turkey with drippings.

These work well for a small or medium bird. Bit maybe not for a big bird. The metal can move of too much weight added. I don’t roast big birds in the oven. So this is perfect and accommodates our family’s meal size.
