We have a sump pit that is mostly used to collect and discharge condensate. It tends to get very rusty which is likely from the pump housing (cast iron) rusting from sitting in water 24/7. I followed the directions and tossed a couple of these tablets in (after flushing the pit with clean water), let it sit overnight, then flushed it again and lo and beyond I would say 99% of the rust was just...gone. So it does the job it is designed to do. They are expensive but they work so if you want to clean up a rusty sump pit, this should do the trick for you. It won't cure the issue...the rust will return eventually, but I'm not seeing the rust rushing back.

Our basement would randomly start to smell like rotten eggs after we would do laundry, take a shower, etc. We hired a plumber for them to come take the sump lid off and tell us it just needed cleaned…thank goodness that’s all it was. We decided to order these tablets and after one tablet we thought it didn’t work because about 8 hours into it our house smelled worse than it ever has, and we thought we had awoken a much bigger problem, turns out it seems to be part of the process, haha. After that our sump hasn’t really put out any bad smells and it’s been 3 weeks so far!

This product works. I have a high amount of iron in my pumps and I used to use oxyclean. This works so much better! It’s dissolves the muck right off the side and pump and it turns to foam that flushes easily. I rinse with hot water and done. I won’t use anything else.

Wild this stuff is very expensive. It works wonders for Iron Ochre. I have a very severe iron ocher issue on a very active sump pump and this clears it out within a couple hours. How long it last depends on how much water you have coming in however I’ve noticed that I can tend to get away treating once every 1 to 2 months

Donne de bon résultat dans une cuve de sump pump mais il faut brassé un peu l'eau pour avoir un bon résultat.. C'est ultra toxique comme produit et je me demande le résultat dans la nature.. (ne pas ce brosser les dents avec)

i liked the product but it does not take care of the odour,it doesn't do the whole job it was suppsose to do.
