I wanted tubes without hanging devices so I could store them in plastic photo holder flat plastic bins (20 bins to a larger container with handle). These worked great and now I can continue storing my beads grouped easily by color.

These tubes are perfect for storing the beads I buy in bulk for my bead weaving and jewelry making projects. So much easier to store, sort and use for me than the plastic bags the beads are sometimes sold with. The caps fit securely which is great. I love them and will be buying more.

Arrived promptly but for some reason, about half the caps were not on the tubes in the package. Being incredibly lightweight, they flew out all over the table and floor when I opened the package. Scared the cat but led to an enjoyable half hour on my hands and knees trying to retrieve them (one’s still missing). Might be a good game for a bored kid: some of the caps really caught some distance! The tubes themselves feel flimsy, but they do hold 10 grams of size 11 seed beads. Although they fit my purpose, they’re not a pleasure to handle and I’m not likely to buy them again. I have other Beadsmith containers that are better made.

I shoot muzzle loading rifles, I pre measure powder charges into these tubes and have several ready to go to the range. When I get to the range each tube carries a pre measured charge ready to be dropped down the muzzle, these tubes flex enough with the cap removed that I can pinch the top to create a small channel for funneling the powder into the barrel. They do tend to develop a little static cling causing the powder to want to stick to the sides of the tube, I have found if you will expose them to a common dryer sheet the static turns loose and the powder doesn't stick, most times just having a dryer sheet in the bag on the way to the range is enough.

I don't know what all got put into these vials. I know for sure none of them ended up with beads in them. I set them out for amateur cartographers and anthropologists and naturalists to collect samples when we were doing some weird art thing on a sunny day. I could figure out what is in the ones that were filled and returned but I won't. One of them has what is definitely plant matter. Probably some wild mower waste, but it could be drugs. It's probably not drugs. Who's going to waste their pot on a weird art project? No one. That's who. There are some of these that definitely have bugs in them, intentionally or unintentionally. I can't bring myself to look closely at the death of these innocent insects, nor do I want to think about why somebody would kill for art like this. It is despicable. But what you want to know is how they work? Well, nothing has escaped from these securely stoppered vials since the day of. What more can I ask?

I bought the tubes to use with the BeadSmith tower. They came in without any damage and fit in the tower perfectly. Very pleased.

They are as described, work well, tops stay on.keeps all those little beads and things separate, nicely stored and easy to view. Wish I had gotten a little bigger size.
