Easy to plant, fast to grow, and grows compactly. I always try to plant cat grass seeds but they always sprout spindly and not compact no matter how much I plant in a container. I decided to get a subscription for them!

So simple and easy to grow, we planted the seeds, went on vacation for a week and our cat sitter watered it a few times. We came home to a healthy bag of tall grass! The cat started chomping away at it. She was eating roses and greenery out of my bouquets so I knew she was craving some plants. This is the perfect solution!

I had looked into this when my indoor house cat was having some digestive issues. The photos I took were of the first order. The grass was easy to grow, very vibrant, and my cat was immediately interested. I do believe it helped calm his digestive tract, along with a probiotic. However, I noticed the grass wilts very quickly, and then my cat would not eat it. I ordered it a second time because I felt it was worth the cost. The second order (which I didn't take photos of) was not as green or healthy looking as my first order, and my cat was not as interested. That was the reason for the deduction of a star. Overall, I would recommend this product as I believe it helped my cat. Due to its shelf life, it would not be a regular purchase, but justifies buying since it is not too expensive. I would recommend to any owners where their cat may be having a rough patch after antibiotics (as in the situation of my cat), excessive hairballs, or thrown up a bit, that this can be a great product for their cat's health, especially if they are an indoor cat.

I didn't notice the plastic bags when I opened the box, so just planted the grass in a cat cup I already had. It worked fine, but I'll use the bags next time. My cat has been enjoying the grass -- I think she is part vegetarian! A different brand I bought previously got brown quickly, but this one has lasted very well.

The kitties loved this grass. It was quick to grow, super easy instructions and so far, have been going strong for the last 4 weeks. They are wilting now, but the instructions say they would, I just wished it was disclosed on the product so I could've conserved the seeds a bit to stagger the growth of them. Only negative is the mold that grows anytime I add some water to the parched soil. That's the only thing that disappointed me. But the fur kids don't care, so I guess all is good.

Pic shows almost one week's worth of growth. Nice but not as lush as shown in description, so hoping these are just the fastest sprouting grains (no oats showing yet). My cat seems interested, so rather having her pluck them right out all the way to the roots, I will cut the sides of the bag shorter by a couple inches so she can chew on them without uprooting. :) Recommended water amount of 14 to 16 oz seemed way too much, I will use less next time. I also poked 2 holes on the sides, near the bottom, for a bit of drainage. So far, so good.

It is so green and my cat loves it.
