This sweatshirt is lightweight, and very soft and comfortable for my son. It is pure black. For reference, my son is about 5 ft tall, around 80-85 lbs, wearing a size LG 10/12.

There is not a ton that I can say about this other than you get exactly what you expect. It is a nice, name brand hoodie with decent fabric that fits true to size. I would consider the value for the price to be decent, and so far it has washed and worn well. My eight-year-old son likes it.

I have shopped at The Children's Place and loved the quality and effort they put into their clothing as it would be worn by children.The hoodie didn't disappoint. The material was really soft and the fit was as expected. I was actually expecting this to be a thicker material like a typically hoodie, but was actually thing, which worked out anyways as my son get cold, but also hot fast. The sizing was as expected and aside from the material being thinner than expected, it was comfortable for my son to wear.

I was sent a sweatshirt that was two sizes smaller than what I ordered and it was so thin it could have been a tshirt. Most importantly, it's a knockoff. The tag says Place. The real clothing by this brand says the children's place quite clearly.
