About this item

  • Includes 10 White Single Feed-Through Bushings: This coaxial cable wall bushing offers behind-wall cable management by sealing wall openings and protecting low-voltage cables from damage.
  • White Coaxial Feed-Through Bushing: Each white coax bushing blends well with walls, baseboards, and siding, providing a discreet, low-profile connection for both indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Solid Construction: Our coaxial cable feed-through bushing is manufactured with high-impact, weatherproof, UV-resistant ABS plastic that creates a watertight seal.
  • Easy Installation: Each exterior grommet includes a single push-through knockout that fits a 12mm cable, with two additional holes that allow smaller wires to run alongside the main cable.
  • Diverse Compatibility: Our coaxial bushing is compatible with a wide range of cables, including coaxial cables, ethernet cables, speaker cables, CCTV cables, and many other low-voltage cables.

Makes a nice clean installation. Just brittle

Twenty five years ago, my brother and I installed a home theater system in my living room. I replaced the speakers this year and the raw hole that the wire came out of was no longer covered by the new speakers. Had the room painted and put these in the whole and it is a much cleaner look. Wish I had these years ago. I just pushed the wire through and pushed the item into the wall. They sit below the speaker and it looks good.

Used this to run RG6 coax through a frame wall, T-111 outside and drywall inside. 1/2" drill works fine. Problem was the hole for the cable measures 1/4" and the coax was too big to go through. Seems that for the past few years the cable companies (Cox and Comcast in my experience) are using an RG6 that is nominally 9/32" rather than the old 1/4". This newer RG6 will not go through these fittings. The fittings are rigid, no stretch. My solution was to drill out the fittings to 5/16", and they now work fine, although the inner passage is drilled out in places.Recommend that you measure the O.D. of your coax and take a good look at the pic of the fitting next to the ruler to check the I.D. of the fitting for yourself.Better yet, Cimple could just state what all the dimensions are instead of just the overall O.D.

The package I received are slightly different than described and appear to be slightly different than the Amazon listed photo, but I still like them. The bushings I received are translucent for one thing, not opaque white. The other difference is that I would not describe them as “single feed-thru”, because the ones I received appear to have options to run multiple wires of different sizes. The main hole is the in fact the standard TV coaxial cable size. But next to that hole are two others, one which is about a 14 gauge opening, and another that I’m guessing is about 18 gauge. The secondary holes are covered with a thin mold of plastic that seems to be meant to be removed with a knife if you wish to use them. Otherwise you just leave it alone and stick to using the main hole in the middle. This makes the install a little more tricky because simply drilling one appropriate sized hole in your drywall does not work. You need to drill a hole and then use a jab saw to carve out a little extra at the 3 o’clock and 6 o’clock positions for example. This would be a major inconvenience if I was doing more than just a few of them.As for my intended purpose, I use these for running speaker wire in my walls, dropped down from the attic. I used Monoprice 14 gauge CL2 rated (in-wall installation rated) speaker wire, and the white sheathing is the exact right size of the main hole for these, so I couldn’t be happier with the fit. It’s perfect for me.I painted mine to get closer to my wall color. I nailed some trim nails into a scrap 2x4, placed a few of the bushings over the nails to hold them upright, sprayed on a coat of primer that was recommended for plastic, and then did 2 coats of sprayed on color. The results are great and I’m hoping the primer helps to bond the paint well so it doesn’t scratch off. I would recommend you paint a few extra than you need, and allow any paint to cure for a week before you do your install. Allowing paint to properly CURE, not just DRY, will help with scratching as you do the install. This plastic is very slick, and paint can scratch off easily, but using a primer first and allowing proper curing will help a lot.

Bought this product to neatly penetrate an exterior wall for speaker cables. Now have a good looking and weatherproof wall penetration. Excellent product!

I am looking for a clean speaker wire pass-through gypbord ceiling. I've tested other products on the #14 AWG (American Wire Gage), 2 wires with a round 2nd esternal insulation, it won't fit. This particular product fits but a little tight. I am okay with it so that the hole holds the wires and it won't move. I am happy with it.

These were great for my purpose - installing satellite speakers on my ceiling as part of my surround sound hookup. I ran the wires through the attic and dropped them through holes where each speaker would go. At connection time, I slipped one of these over each speaker wire towards the ceiling and used a keyhole saw to slowly widen the rough hole in the ceiling until these fit snugly. I put a dab of caulk on the side that was facing the ceiling, pushed into the wall, dabbed away the excess caulk, and used painter's tape to hold them in place for a couple of hours while the caulk set. Now the speakers look great and the wire comes out of this connection instead of an ugly roughed out hole. Well worth it for the price - be a little patient, use the caulk, and it's a great product for the purpose. Pay attention to the sizing though - I have 14g insulated in-wall speaker wire and it was great for this size, for nonisnulated/higher guage wire, you'll want the smaller size.

Product works great - even used it in plastic walls and ceilings without issue. On the pricey side, but a bag will last a while. The white colour is NOT pure white like the photos show - it is textured white (as another reviewer mentioned too).

I love the fact that this product makes it very easy to cover up drill points on a concrete wall, I bought the item for use abroad and it was a great decision.

It fits RG6 coax nicely but because it has two companion sleeves for other wire, you have to either drill an oversized hole in your drywall (and then plug up the spaces) or a correctly sized hole and punch through with the companion sleeves on the sides. That's probably fine for drywall, but not viable for plaster.Shipping was fast and cheap and the device seems ok but not in plaster. I didn't need the companion sleeves, I should have just found a grommet with a single hole in it but I was in a rush when I ordered.
