You get a lot of penny rolls for your money. They work just fine for organization but a box will help to keep them together for transportation. After buying these I discovered my credit union has a free coin sorting machine. I also discovered rhat any penny with 1982 (October) is 95% copper. Those pennies are worth 2-3 cents each if they are separated and rolled together. Canadian pennies are 97% copper.

Penny wrappers are pretty simple. These are functional and sturdy enough to do the job.

best price I could find for penny wrappers. I got a couple of 3 gallon water bottles full of pennies and will put this to good use.

Easy to use and at about $0.01 each won't eat into your cents too much. Why the US still makes the Penny is beyond me but there are billions and billions of them out there that need to be rolled. Another note, pennies pre-1982 are mostly copper and at current copper value puts that penny value at about $0.02.
