For 30 years I have used the broken eggs shell, a spoon or a fork to get these little gross white things off my eggs! I cook 100+ eggs a month for my family and then I see this tool on Amazon! Got it last night. I immediately tried it on the 50 eggs I prepared for my kids’ breakfast mix and oh my goodness!!! It works so well! This thing will save me a ton of time, mess, and hassle! I am so very pleased with this product! Have used it at least 40 times on different cartons of eggs and it has worked PERFECTLY every time!! The plastic is sturdy and whatever the finish is, the egg "anchor" and shell bits are not repelled by it, the materials are picked-up on the first try. The grabber part is precise and sharp enough to cut, no tugging or mangling of the yolk.

This thing works extremely well, but darn it's expensive. I worked for an injection moulding company and know what it costs to make a tool like this in bulk and I must say at volume this thing would cost pennies to produce. You know what? At it's cost, for what it does, it's worth absolutely every pricy cent! I had no idea these things existed. For years I've been manually using two small spoons to fight to get rid of that little yucky rubber band bit. Now it takes me literally seconds and it works extremely well to boot. The secret is that the two halves of the tool interlock with one another to completely seal in a globe shape and cut that bit out. Great design. My only suggestion would be to make the handle slightly thinner so as to be a tiny bit easier to squeeze.What can I say, spend the money, buy one of these things. You won't regret it. It proudly sits next to my 30 year old yet still indispensable orange peeler tool!

We get grossed out with the "chalaza" in the eggs. This works very well. Easy to clean.I would highly recommend if you have a problem with it too.
