Pen is easy to grip and writes easily with good ink line. Light is bright enough . .. and strobe feature is nice. Some reviewers have said that light is not bright and that strobe would be useless, but I have tried it, and you don't want that strobe flashing in your eyes. If confronted by someone at night, the strobe would definitely make the bad guy turn away for a split second, enough time to allow you to engage in fight or flight. The "tactical" end of the pen making contact on the right surface of the bad guy after a hard strike, if that is your only option, would definitely have the same result of giving you that 1-2 seconds which might be enough to gain tactical advantage. The screwdriver/bottle opener/saw looks too flimsy to use but is better than nothing and a nice added feature AND they give you 4 extra pen refills and a battery replacement. All at a good price. So, yes, it is value for money.

Works for me in a pinch if I need it. This will be my EDC carry . In response to the negative comments, For those who’ve think they’re flashlight is not working on this product, you haft to flip the battery around , they do this for in case of accidental fire during transport hence killing the battery. No cap for the glass break? Tell me why would you even need one? In case of an emergency you want that glass break ready to go, I can pull it out of my pocket and deploy it in a self defense / rescue situation. Having a cap on a glass break can mean life or death when time is in the essence. Overall I am happy with this product. Would recommend and would buy again.

There is a lot of good utility for the price. Unfortunately, it's extremely long for seemingly no reason. There's a lot of empty space inside. The flashlight is also almost worthless. For the money, it's worth it if you're not worried about length and a good flashlight. For more, there's better options.

My mother-in-law gave me a tactical pen as a present a while ago. I really liked having it, but I stopped carrying anything in my pockets but keys/phone for the most part. I misplaced the pen, but I felt a bit conscious using another pen around her. She noticed and I just had to replace it with a near-identical tactical one. This one is actually better in one aspect: it is shorter. The other one would stick out of my pocket or nearly poke a hole in it. I can place this one in my pocket without worry. The pen writes very well, the light is very adequate, and the multi-tool is very handy. I can’t speak on the glass breaker because I don’t want anyone to be in a position to have to use. It is reassuring to have it on hand.

I'm a paramedic and this has been a great tool for me. I stopped using it when the first set of batteries died, then remembered it came with replacements. I noticed even more with the 2nd set how quickly they died. I haven't been able to find more replacement batteries to buy separately, so back to not using it again.
