I literally don’t know if there are any cons, it’s just perfect for Evah Pirazzi green with not an expensive bow.Cons:• Price• Bright sound• Almost no dust flying from a good rosined bow• The quality and the whole package• Has a small bag to keep it fresher and a cloth that keep your hands clean• It’s just aesthetic)Absolutely love it

After growing to detest my old rosin, I decided it was time to kick it to the curb. A friend told me about this rosin and said she really liked it. I can’t believe the difference. Almost no squeaking, good grip, nice tone, and very little dust left on the instrument. You won’t regret this purchase.

Absolutely thrilled with this rosin and the customer service provided by this company. The first rosin I order arrived in pieces thanks to the US Postal Service so I had to send it back. When the return was noted, the company reached out to me instantly to see if they go do anything do "make it right". Clearly, it was not their fault but their attention to customer satisfaction is outstanding. I love this rosin! It has really helped me with better bow control. My cello teacher suggested it and now everyone in our music studio is using it and are very happy with it.

I love the bag that the rising comes in with.

I'm relatively new to the violin, but so far this is my third try at rosin. The first was a "light" cake and very hard. I had to re-apply after every practice. The second was a dark rosin. When I opened it, the rosin surface was very pitted and the rosin would flake off the cake in shards It must have been old. I should have returned it I suppose. This one was a big improvement. It is easy to use and applies smoothly and evenly. It does last longer on the bow than the first one. It doesn't create excessive dust. It is grippier than either of the first two. That will take a bit of getting used to, but I think I'll like it. Not only does it come attached to a microfiber cloth to make it easy to hold and wrap, it has a dark blue "velvet" pouch that is very pretty and adds another layer of cushion and protection.

Okay. Wife liked it for her violins but said it was not much better than her cheaper ones. She liked the color. Said it left residue dust on the violin body that needed a good wiping to clean. She thinks it improved her tone but not a lot. She will continue to use it but won't buy again as the cheaper older ones she has, work good too. Saves her money to get more strings and bows. She is Asian and is an intermediate to advanced player. Owns several quality violins etc. Ciao etc. Reads music, played in choirs and has 25 years experience. Rosin is a small item but every little bit helps your playing. Go practice ...

I have played violin for many years and have tried many different rosins and I am very pleased with the Original Bernardel brand.

I bought rosin from a well know company for my daughter as a beginner. I then bought this rosin as recommended by her teacher. She tried it one time and she thought I changed out her strings. I told her I didn't, they are the same strings that came with the viola. She noticed immediately that it sounded better. She was amazing that rosin can do that. Highly recommended.
