I'm fortunate in a lot of ways to be in a relationship with a classy woman who doesn't long for the biggest diamonds on the market--while she has her fair share of diamonds, she is much more of a classic pearl woman. Each Christmas, birthday, and Valentine's Day (and randomly throughout the year) she has a very strong shot at receiving pearls.This was the first time, however, I've ever purchased pearls online without having touched them at a storefront or anything of the sort. I was nervous for a number of reasons--one, I hadn't seen them in person but the reviews were all fantastic, and two, I ordered so close to Christmas that I was nervous that I'd be out of time for anything as a replacement if they weren't what I hoped for.Keep in mind while reading this that we are very big fans of the Sea Magic by Mikimoto line which I believe you can pick up at most well-known jewelers. We have had a lot of luck and success with stunning products at a fairly good price--pearl bracelet, two sets of pearl earrings, and a pearl ring. They are a very well known and highly regarded line of pearl jewelry, and what this necklace was up against. I will say that price played a big role in the purchase, but be warned: this does NOT look like a necklace purchased for this price. I was very pleasantly pleased by the quality when the necklace arrived and while I would not rank it as an equal to the competing line from Mikimoto, it is a far superior value. This speaks in no way negatively towards this necklace, I'm just very loyal to the Sea Magic line.Here is what I'll leave with: If you're looking for "cheap," this is not it. If you're looking for value, this certainly fits the bill. This would not be an everyday piece, it certainly holds the appearance and quality of an occasion necklace, which is what we'll use it for. Will I still buy one of the Mikimoto ones? So overly pleased by this, I highly doubt it.

Bought for my mother for Christmas. Opened them to check them. Stunning . Didn't care for packaging but the pearls themselves are gorgeous 😠would recommend 👌

I thought about purchasing a nice set of pearls for my wife for some time, but never pulled the trigger due to the cost. Any set of pearls I previously stumbled upon that were in my price range were lacking in quality and often had numerous poor reviews. This Christmas I decided to browse Amazon again for pearls after doing some research and educating myself. I decided that freshwater cultured vs saltwater pearls was unimportant as long as I found a pair of freshwater that was AAA quality. I wanted the pearls to be as close as round as possible with minimal imperfections. Additionally, my wife doesn't usually wear lavish jewelry and is fairly modest, so I settled on the Akoya pearls rather than the larger and colorful Tahitian pearls. I wanted the piece to be classy, but also something she could wear with a lot of different outfits. Fortunately, I found this single strand necklace from the Pearl Source. It had all the intangibles I was looking for and was at a very competitive price compared to others I reviewed.My wife loves them and I couldn't be happier with the quality. While I admit I am a layperson to expensive jewelry and pearls in general, my entire experience with the Pearl Source has been spectacular, from the informative item descriptions, the quick delivery, and to the stunning final product. I would recommend this product immensely, and tell anyone that they believe they cannot find a good set of pearls without breaking the bank that they are WRONG. Cheers

I bought these for my wife. When the package arrived, I noticed that the necklace was unconnected and loose in the box (the box has 2 wired holders to keep the necklace in place). I assume someone bought it for a special event and then returned them. There is NOTHING wrong with the clasp so someone placed the necklace in the box unconnected. Either a previous owner or REALLY bad quality control at the source. There did not seem to be anything wrong with the necklace itself so I did not return it. I am ok with "used" merchandise IF it is labeled as such and priced as such. I think a 10% price reduction would be great in this case. However, I paid full price for a new one. My wife does not want to bother to replace them as the necklace is fine and I agree. 5 stars for everything else.

These pearls are slightly off-white which goes better for my skin tone than optic white. I got the 6.5-7 mm size and it is perfect. The pearls have a beautiful lustre which faux pearls don't have. It's a beautiful necklace, feels cool and comfortable on my skin. Highly recommend especially for the excellent price!

I bought these for my daughter's high school graduation. The quality is very good. The pearls are all similar in size and appear to be good quality. The clasp is substantial as well. Shipping was delayed but other than that I have no complaints.

These pearls arrived in a timely manner in a lovely navy blue display box, enclosed in a navy blue gift box. I was nervous about the purchase being unable to see them in person or handle them. When I opened the box they were beautiful. They where nicely weighted, they hang very lovely, they have a beautiful pearl luster. They shine with ivory, gold, pinks, and blue hues. They were not glaring white, which had been a concern of mine also. They have a very nice 14k yellow gold clasp. In your hand and on your neck they feel decadent. They were extremely high quality. They were each round with very small irregularities that are not noticeable at all during wear. They're the perfect kind of irregularities that show that they are genuine pearls. They were each well sized and each pearl was individually knotted. They were purchased as a mother's day gift for my mom, she has never had a strand of pearls, and these blew her away. She is so happy with them. Thank you for making them so affordable.

These pearls are exquisite. Feminine, high quality pearls that you will not regret buying. The packaging for delivery could have been better but the pearls themselves are so lovely. No issues whatsoever. Buy them, you’ll be so pleased with these pearls.
