These pearl earrings are beautiful. Very good quality for the price--nice luster, uniformity, etc. I got the 7-7.5 mm and they are a very nice size.I only have one other pair of pearl earrings, and those ones are very high-end, large, and fancy. I got these ones as an 'everyday' pair to wear for work, etc. so I can save my fancy pair for special occasions. These are perfect for an 'everyday' pair--large enough to be seen but not too flashy, and not so expensive that it would be like a minor tragedy to lose one (although it would obviously still be upsetting!). The luster & color is almost as good on these as it is on my fancy ones. And actually, because of the smaller size, these don't sag forward the way my others do.Also, I want to point out that I did get the product as described--the info that came with the package says that they are cultured Akoya pearls cultivated in Japan. (I am pointing this out because another reviewer said that her earrings came with info that said they were freshwater, not Akoya. Maybe there is a pattern of mistakes like that, but in my case, I got the right product.)

I have looked for this size of Pearl everywhere. Ordered this from a jeweler and it came too small. The price is outstanding. Love love them!!!

I got the 5-6mm with 14K gold post for my great-great niece. She is 6mos old & has sensitive ears, so she had to have real gold. They were so beautiful and such great quality! The soft earring backing was perfect for a baby's ear lobe. Didn't pinch or hurt her. I will definitely purchase again for me - perfect size for my 2nd ear piercing!

So, I have been trying to find earrings that I can wear everyday and I won't loose easily. The added difficultly is that I can only where real gold so it had made buying earring more expensive. Though I am more fond of hoops they always seem to get stuck in my hair or close I'm wearing and then they are lost forever. I have lost many gold earring and so I decided that I would try one more time and just stay with studs. I thought pearls would go well with everything so I looked on Macy's and they were very expensive. I turned to Amazon with little hope but was surprised to find these. Skeptical I was, being that they were very affordable but I thought it might be just because of the size. I took the chance and I am very happy I did. Baby Size it said but I think they are perfect size, any bigger wouldn't make them a everyday earring. I was also scared they would be only coated in gold and my ears would hate me but no reaction to them (it been a week of continuous wear) so I know that I made a great choice.I would definitely buy them again and suggest them to anyone. The size is perfect, I am 21 college student and I don't look over dressed but still classy =). Also if I can afford them, I think that is saying something.

These guys botched my anniversary plans...My wonderful girlfriend was a champ and went to an office party with me. She wore A pearl necklace from her recently deceased Uncle which, by all accounts, she looked smokin hot in. I could tell the necklace meant a lot to her by the way she carefully packed it up in the box the moment we returned home.For our anniversary the following weekend I bought her a set of matching earrings in hopes she will feel surrounded by a halo of love every time she donned the set.I was cutting it close on time. I'm not a monster, we said no presents! I decided to break the rules and go for it. I've also been quoted as saying "I will never buy you jewellery". Generally, I think it's a big waste of money but combined with the power of the pearl necklace, getting her these felt like it would be meaningful.I did my research into pearl types and ratings. Got out my callipers to make sure I wasn't going too big or too small. I looked for a seller with lots of reviews and shipping that would make it here in the next 4 days or less.Unfortunately what I received was one decent earring and the other one was flat as a pancake. I wouldn’t mind so much if they were at least symmetrical but there are obvious difference between the two that my untrained eye noticed immediately. Fortunately, Amazon was willing to send a new pair; Unfortunately, it will not be here until 4 days too late. I will end up giving her the mismatched pair as a placeholder until the other ones arrive. I must say, I’m disappointed I won’t get to surprise her with the AAA earrings I was supposed to get.I would suggest to anyone who has no time for exchanges to buy somewhere else where you can see what you are getting.Maybe she will like them. Their obvious asymmetry echoes our wonderful unlikely pairing. (I’m the pancaked pearl of you’re wondering). She can wear them and remember the time I tried to buy her jewellery even though I said I would never do it. I'll say to her "See! that's why I never do it!" We will laugh. Not what I want of course - but love is a lot of chuckling at your partner's mistake and loving them more for it. At the end of the day, it will be a special memory for us regardless but I cannot recommend this seller.
