The Pick Clip is attached to a sturdy string which securely attaches to the Music Maker via a metal clip. Picks can't get lost because they become an integral part of the Music Maker. We had ours for a day and my little girl broke it (It cracked) while strumming the MM (and she's not the rough handling type). Poor quality. Our pick was white. Not sturdy plastic at all like other picks. However, the cord for the pick (so it doesn't get lost like our original pick) is great and a great concept.

Pick not as shown in the picture. The picture has the original pick in green, which is what I wanted. This one was a small white one (guitar) not nearly as suitable for this instrument.
