I like that there is a ring that holds all the pieces together. It is made a think acrylic and has holes 1/4 of an inch around if your cutting batting to fit inside. You would definitely need to be a better quilter then me to use them like that cause they are small but I bought them to make appliqué and as a template to make yo-yo’s.

These are really great templates. They are easy to use and store. They are a bit slick so I backed them with some Invisigrip and they are perfect. I was able to cut out perfect 2 inch circles for my quilt.

I ordered this set not knowing what I would use it for and now I'm certain I don't know. I must have missread the description because I didn't realize how small these are. The are well done, quality templates, they are just much too small. That's why I'm giving 4 stars. If they quality wasn't so amazing, it might be lower.

They are good quality and work well. 2 minor complaints, a little awkward getting the needed disc on and off the ring and I wish the disc size was larger and showed up a little better. Otherwise, I like this set.

Ich habe die 8 Kreise gekauft. Was mir besonders gefällt ist, dass auf jedem Kreis der Durchmesser in Inch und Zentimeter drauf steht, ohne die Nahtzugabe. Diese beträgt 1/4 inch und kann auf dem Material (zB Stoff) durch vorhandene Löcher in den Schablonen markiert werden. Die Materialstärke entspricht der von einem Patchworklineal von Markenherstellern. Was besonders wichtig ist, die Kanten sind angenehm in der Hand, nicht scharfkantig. Wie lange der Aufdruck hält wird die Zeit zeigen. Bisher jedenfalls sind sie für gut 12€ jeden Cent wert. Der Bärenanhänger ist eine liebenswerte Beigabe. Aufbewahren kann man die Schablonen in dem Zipplockbeutel und/oder dem verschraubbaren Drahtring.

I'm sick of these picuters and description not being upfront and transparent. It made it seem like they were relatively large, large enough to use for a medium size base of a bag template but to use to round the opposite ends. They are very small and the whole thing can fit in one hand. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them and they are of excellent quality. However, I have no use for them whatsoever and will keep just in case one day I might have use for them. So this is the only reason for three stars is because I have no use for them but nothing wrong with the quality and expectation if you are a quilter.
