I've experimented with many slides, brass, ceramic, steel and found that glass has the tone I'm looking for. This item is truly my slide, a nice thick glass wall with a comfortable cutaway at the second knuckle. I got the medium and it's snug, but not constraining. I don't feel the need to constantly adjust. I'm able to play without having to concentrate on it. The groove on the side for a muting finger is brilliant. Ultimate control. I highly recommend this and will be looking for others to add to the collection.

This is by far the best slide I’ve used but a large is a bit small for ring finger and I have smaller hands…awesome on the pinky and I’d consider a 2nd X-Large for ring finger if o played more often.

I've used glass, brass, nickel, ceramic, beer bottle, socket, etc. Didn't think it mattered much but I like the comfort of this slide. Fits the finger nicely and works better up and down the neck. Nice thick wall but not too thick, nice warm tone.If you are looking to play live and use on a variety of styles of music, this is a good choice. Give it a try.

I have tried several slides even slide that are supposed to be the right size. I always have issues with consistency likely cause I don't do a lot with slides. This sure makes it easier to get the consistency I need. Thanks

I went through a lot with f slides .. found a size that stopped at my knuckle. But still always wobbly…. The Rock slide is pure genius it’s made to fit your finger by stopping at the knuckle and slimming at the top makes the perfect snug non wobbly slide I ever used… since then got the ceramic one also and it is also perfect for me ( I have a 10.5 ring size and take rock slides medium that I use on ring finger) hope this helps someone

Love this slide. I've always had trouble holding a slide without my finger getting tired trying to hold it on my finger. The rock slide stays in place. Highly recommend

I noodle around I love slide guitar and I really enjoy this one way better than the chrome slide.
