Tailor-made for Resonator Guitars If you play a resonator, the Polished Brass Balltip Slide is the one slide you should never leave home without. Its pronounced ball nose makes it a combo slide that works well on dobro, lap steel, and resonator guitars. It’s unmatched in comfort, thanks to its contoured finger rest and knuckle cutaway. The slide’s tapered interior ensures a uniform fit along your whole finger, adding stability and control to your slide performances. And its polished brass material is legendary for its gritty feel and cutting sustain, making your passages jump out.Polished Brass The Polished Brass Balltip Slide is an evolution of the original Rock Slide. Brass imparts your tone with a cutting sound. And its rougher surface area adds a bit of drag and grit while traveling across the strings. The fact that it is also denser than glass and adds great sustain makes it a

Wow! Finally, someone built a slide for someone extremely picky like myself.I am a professional player of over 30 years and have dabbled in slide guitar throughout the years but, I have never found a slide I liked at all. I have tried everything from glass to brass, different sizes and thickness, short and long, as well as some custom made slides (I will not name to be fair to them) that never really worked out for me and my slide playing just wasn't enjoyable for me. What I wanted was someone to build me a thin walled, tapered slide that would fill most of my finger up until the last bend in my finger, be snug and not flop around....basically something that felt very natural, like an extension of my finger that wouldn't fall off or feel like I had to babysit the slide.Guess what folks, this is it, I finally found what was impossible to find! Now, I'm gonna be honest with everyone reading this....I didn't believe I would actually ever find a slide I was going to be happy with unless I painstakenly drilled one out myself. I figured these are kinda pricey but what the heck, let's try it just one more time! So I measured my finger beforehand using their method of using an open end wrench. It worked brilliantly and the size I ordered fit me perfectly. I put it on and within literally just 2 seconds, no joking there, I knew this was gonna be good! I started to play and I was just completely enamored immediately. This was all of those things I mentioned above. I finally found "THE ONE"!I really want to thank the folks at Rock Slides for the thought and attention to detail you put into this product. It is companies like you who think outside of the box rather than just producing another cookie cutter product. Companies like this help us musicians achieve everything we desire out of playing. I will be buying more slides and telling my many musician friends.Keep the music flowing

This slide is great. I have long "piano player" fingers size 7 ring. I wanted a snug pinkie slide....this is perfect. All others have been too big. Brass sounds soooooo good. I thought my chrome slide was best until this one. I still use a regular slide on my ring finger too - but for songs that require more dexterity and fills, the pinkie slide is great. I like to play using it for few songs at a time. Downside: $$$ more than I would have liked to pay....BUT...It fits, it works, and for me it was worth it.

A great brass slide, with a lot of control, BUT the light weight and thinness provide little sustain. I ordred the small glass rock slide after getting this, and that was a better purchase for me.

I have stopped counting the number of slides I own. There is always some trade-off. Either too thin, or too thick, or too short, or too long, or too bright or too mellow, too large, too small, and then there is this the Rockslide with the balltip in small. Perfect for the ring finger slide player. Just the right length, just the right thickness, just the right sustain and brightness. Best slide, full stop!

it doesn't fit my pinky well, but work able. good quality brass, and sounds good, I think, its heavy for a pinky slide.

I've got average-sized hands and the small fits my pinky well. I like the closed balltip model better than the open tip model... Seems to provide a bit more control over things.

Doesn't have the ball tip but it's still a good slide

Producto de buena calidad y de tamaño adecuado, no me gustan los slides grandes todos los que he tenido han sido así y para aprender siempre me han sido incómodos.Ahora toca practicar que esto solo no suena 🎸

Absolutely gorgeous. Fits perfectly. Having very small hands, it's the first time I've played a slide that didn't fly off my finger or cause me to cramp up from bending my knuckle to keep it in place. Once it's on and a bit of moisture builds up in there, it's on until you deliberately remove it. The finish is immaculate. And it sounds fantastic. The brass is very musical. The ball tip is wonderful. Can't say enough good things about this slide. Now it's time for me to become a better player because there's no way I can blame my gear.

Great polished finish, snug fit... perfect for slide with precise control. So much better than any others I have used.
