It is easy to hold and use and cleans the hoof well. I’m cleaning out all my other hoof picks- the cute ones that I bought because of color, etc.This will be my go to gift for horse friends as well.

I picked up one of these and lost my whole grooming kit to a school barn mix up. This hoofpick was the only thing that I bothered to replace exactly.

I bought this for a horse who wears a full-circle shoe due to weak heels; as a result, he packs mud into his foot and it hardens like concrete. This pick is the first one that actually broke into the "concrete" but he definitely flinches when I get down to the foot...so I use this pick to clear the top layers of "concrete" and then switch to a regular hoof pick to finish the job.

Hands down best hoof pick on the planet and I’ve use a lot of different types! Fabulous for everything from dirt, to rocks to hard packed snow/ice. Easy to hold. My only complaint is that everyone at the barn tries to get their paws on it if its out! But finally they are getting clued in to getting their own.
