About this item

  • 【Brand Overview】Thermalright is a Taiwanese brand with more than 20 years of development history. It has a certain popularity in the domestic and international markets and has a decisive influence in the cooler market. We have been focusing on the research and development of computer accessories. The R&D product line includes: CPU coolers, case fans, silicone pad, thermal paste, mounting brackets, accessories and other products.
  • 【Overall refinement】The cpu radiator adopts anodic black frosted process, the twin towers of the radiator body present a frosted texture, with 7 fully plated and blackened heatpipes, as well as a precision micro-engraved reflow soldered copper base, which greatly enhances the overall performance of the radiator; avoiding the treatment of the graphics card allows for greater compatibility of the cpu cooler.
  • 【AGHP technique】7x6mm heatpipe with AGHP upgraded 4th generation technology, the Inverse gravity effect caused by vertical / horizontal orientation. Up to 20000 hours of industrial service life, S-FDB bearings ensure long service life of air-cooler radiators.UL class a safety insulation low-grade, industrial strength PBT + PC material to create high-quality products for you.

So I'm using this in an MSI X870E Carbon WiFi with the AMD 9800X3D. This is a super combination, upgrading from my Noctua NH-U14S. What a difference. At similar volume levels, the Thermalright is several degrees cooler. While yes, the Noctua is quieter at max RPM, at equivalent RPMs the Thermalright is quieter. It's not even fair to say the Noctua is quieter, because of course it is - it tops out at 1500rpm, whereas the Thermalright will go to 2150rpm! At 1500rpm, the Thermaltake setup is quieter than the Noctua. It's that simple. In Cinebench R23 multi-core, I'm seeing mid 70s temperatures max (with a small undervolt of -20 on all cores). Fantastic. The RGB is subtle and fun, though the sandwiched fan doesn't show it off super well.Overall, this is fantastic value, and cools the 9800X3D easily.5 out of 5.

I much prefer fan-based CPU coolers over AIO units, but finding the right one can be hard. There’s a lot of coolers with loud, cheap fans. There’s also a few that seem a bit overpriced. This cooler hits the perfect balance. It’s easy to install, cools well, and is nice and quick. It’s also great that it has LED lighting that isn’t over the top, but tasteful. So far, it’s cooling my i7 quite nicely and is so quiet! I had a Noctua in my previous rig. It was nice, but a bit big and pretty expensive. This is a great replacement / option for my new rig.

Works great. Cools my CPU reasonably well, and it's not very loud, but more importantly, the sound it does make is pretty good, not shrill at all.I'm using it with a stock i7-14700K, and it could do a better job cooling that oven, but I knew going in I was pushing it's capabilities, so I won't fault it for not being as good as a Noctua NH-D15. It's a great choice for a CPU with lesser heat output. It would be wasted on (for example) a 35W CPU--but your CPU would be cool and look cooler.

I am amazed as how big this cooler is and how quiet the fans are compared to my prior AIO cooler's radiator fans. It's top quality and I see why this company has such high ratings! My only gripe and reasons I only give this 4 stars it's because I have RGB RAM sticks that are high profile and the one of the Fans covers them. Bare there is no clearance between the RAM and the Cooler Fan. I have 64 Gigs and wasn't going to dump the current ones to accommodate the fan's profile and size. I have a Ryzen 7 5800X and this big boy keeps it super cool. Under loads it reaches around 60C. Idle stays in the low 30's C. Recommended!

I was expecting it to be loud but surprisingly it’s not and the little rgb effect makes my pc minimal and sleek. Mounting is fairly simple. This things pushing air out with easy. So far the fan performance is great with this cost I say it’s worth it.

This CPU cooler exceeded my expectations. Upon receiving the package, I was surprised by its larger size, which turned out to be a great fit for my ATX case. It performs flawlessly, keeping my system cool and quiet. If I ever need another cooler, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Thermalright again. The shipping was incredibly fast, the packaging secure, and the price-to-performance ratio is unbeatable. Highly recommended for anyone with a large PC case.

Works great, no issues with it at all. Noise is good, cooling is excellent, standard installation with idiot proof explication. Some what bulky so be mindful of the dimensions.

Whether you’re after the highest possible CPU overclock, or just looking to build a PC that's silent under load, you should choose your CPU cooler carefully. The best CPU cooler for your build will make a big difference in your system's temperatures and fan noise. In high-end systems, it can even deliver better performance by keeping boost clocks higher for longer.
