Warm and light. Disclaimer: I only wore them for the week I went snowboarding, but every night I threw them in the washer and dryer and they stood up just fine. Second disclaimer: my feet do not sweat. I know, it's weird, but I cannot offer any input on sweat-proof-ness since I don't have that issue.
