these are nice! most so called bbq gloves are so small with misshapen fingers making them nearly useless. but these are formed as seen and allow user to move his/her fingers manipulating objects.

I bought these gloves after burning my hand on the middle oven rack , twice, in the exact same spot two days apart resulting in a nasty burn. Overall I like them and intend to keep using them. I enjoyed excellent heat insulation with a Pyrex baking dish coming out of a 425 degree oven. On the downside you lose subtlety of touch or grip and you have to think about the best hold for the object. I have medium size male hands and these are a comfortable fit for me. I feel they may be too large for small hands.

Great protection when using a turkey fryer. Love the textured palms for better grip.

A few years back I purchased what were supposed to be high heat resistant gloves from a TV Infomercial. They never fit quite right nor could they take the heat. They did work if I used them as pot holders. (not wearing as gloves, but holding in my hand so in essence doubling the thickness of the glove. Its snowing outside right now, so I won't be cranking up the smoker for a while. My wood burning stove has been fired up and is kicking out about 425 degrees of surface heat. With the gloves on you can see I'm pressing on the top of the stove. After a few seconds there was some warmth coming through but certainly not enough to burn.I use my smoker year round. The toughest part is getting the brisket out of the smoker when finished. Again I have purchased many sets of tongs that were supposed to be able to handle big slabs of beef. Including from a famous barbeque website that boasts making BBQ competition winning brisket. Unfortunately, they were never able to handle the task. These gloves make all the difference, I'm able to reach in with both hands and handle the brisket(s) pulling them out with no problem. Granted we're only talking about 125 degrees or so, but the briskets aren't falling apart because they are so tender (or falling to the ground for that matter).

This past year, we began learning how to smoke a pork butt on our new grill. It's not only a hot undertaking but also a messy one. My boyfriend recently used my long-sleeved oven gloves that have the grippy silicone with thick Aramid fabric and insulation. He used my oven gloves to pick up our smoked pork butt to transfer it to wrap in a long sheet of aluminum foil so that it could continue cooking on the grill. Needless to say, my oven gloves were not easy to hand wash; a lot of juice and spices were embedded in the glove fibers that I hand-scrubbed to get clean. When I saw these ThermoPro BBQ Gloves with Fingers become available, it was our perfect solution. Because they are coated with "food grade neoprene rubber," they are "resistant to oil and stains." They are easier to clean under hot running water and hung by the loops to air dry. The cotton insulation is minimal but adequate for our purposes. I will never use them in the kitchen because my medium-sized hands are too small. The Product Dimensions are 14"L x 5.9"W. These gloves are giant and bulky for me but useful for my boyfriend's large hands with which to pick up the smoked butt. I’ve found that most BBQ gloves are usually for L and XL hands. My boyfriend's palm is almost 3 3/4" wide, while mine is only 3 1/4." We look forward to using these Thermpro BBQ Gloves when we smoke our next pork butt.

I have been wanting some good heat resistant gloves, ever since I burned myself using the convection oven with regular oven mitts. I was thrilled to find some that looked sturdy and useful. These are great in terms of heat resistant but with one caveat....these don't come in sizes so this one size fits all theory had to include the possibility of giant man hands. I unfortunately do not have giant man hands so my hands are swimming in these gloves. When I put these on, they are so large that I can fold the glove almost in half to get it to be my size. Alas, the function is good since these are thick but the size makes them a little hard to maneuver easily. I was able to grab the tray straight out of the air fryer with no problem or feeling any real heat coming through. Win!I still like these and for those who are larger in hand size, these will be perfect.
