Says 165 lb capacity instructions say 100 lb what's up with that. It works as describes but still not sure if it's going to hold over a hundred pounds

The Ad states that this lift is rated for 165lbs, but the paperwork that comes with the product states a rating of 100lbs., a big difference. The steel parts are substantial enough, but the plastic pulleys are weak plastic and probably won't last long. And the ropes are also inferior, the sheathing is separating from the core. I wouldn't recommend this product. Also, I've been calling the sellers cust. service number for days now, left messages...haven't gotten a response yet.

Seller misrepresented the specifications on this item. They stated 165lb capacity, but instructions state only 100 lb. Capacity. They need to correct this?

This was advertised as having a 165 lbs rating when the instructions say it only has a 100 lbs rating. I could have gotten a less expensive one if I didn’t want the added weight rating

I purposely got this one to hold my 130lbs kayak, but instructions say only 100lbs. What the heck? Can we not trust the information Amazon/sellers on Amazon provide?
