Note that they can change the actual product they send you under this review at any time... But the 40 foot 4 inch version I got fits very snuggly in a 4 inch Menards sdr 35 (S&D, sewer and drain) hub - with 3 wraps of gaffer tape. I applied the gaffer tape by threading the hose onto a left hand threaded quick disconnect. Good luck, your results may vary.

Finally had a chance to install this hose with a new (to me) 2 HP dust collector and I am completely satisfied. Diameter was just right for a very snug fit, material seems fairly strong, and it is a generous enough length to reach just about everywhere I need it to.

I ordered this to replace an older, shorter hose on my Central Machinery 13-gallon dust collector. It took a bit of coaxing to fit it to the port, but once it was clamped in place, it has performed very well. The CM collector is only 660 CFM, but there doesn't appear to be any collapsing or hindrances in the hose, and the length provides a lot of maneuverability in my small shop. The PVC is super flexible, and it appears to be strong and tear-resistant (though I'm not intentionally trying to create any holes in it). It's obviously a bit heavy - as expected - but it's surprisingly quick to move if you need to switch things around or make adjustments in your dust collection system. Really happy with the results overall.

This Hose seems to be made of decent material. Only time will tell how long it’ll last. Would recommend

This product is absolute garbage. Literally, I Had no choice but to throw the hose away after about a month of use. The plastic is stiff which makes it difficult to flex and move into the position you need it to be in and it's so brittle that it simply cracks with normal use. Furthermore the wires are attached in such a way that they come out very easily. It's also just slightly too small for 4 inch hose connections and because the plastic is so stiff and brittle it's very challenging to stretch around the fitting without a heat gun. Do not buy this! Spend a little bit more money and get the better product that is actually made in the USA.
