Had water on the floor of our camper at the start of our third camping season. Figured out it was coming from the top of the vacuum breaker when pressing the foot flush down part way to fill the bowl. Looks just like original and was exact fit. No more leak. I watched videos on YouTube on how to change. Most people removed toilet but I didnt need to. Mine is in a corner so I had a little extra room behind to work with. Fixed in less than five minutes. Kit came with all needed parts. Very satisfied.

This is identical to the OEM one I replaced on the RV toilet. No problems, although instructions could be larger!

I would have left 5 stars if the instructions were not very misleading. They add steps that are completely unnecessary. Why would they want you to take the toilet off the trailer? I guarantee if an RV repair man that was competent did this job he wouldn't wast his time. Granted if the installer completely has no dexterity or isn't handy at all, yes follow the directions. Don't even turn the water off it is held back at the foot pedal. All I did was use a pair of channel locks and worked in the blind, feeling for the clamp on the short tube leaving the vacuum breaker to the toilet bowl. Use your fingers to position the tool on the clamp, open clam and slide toward the bowl, do not rotate clamp while released. Now you can move the vacuum breaker toward the wall to see the lower inlet tube and remove that clamp. Have a towel at the ready to capture about a 1/3 of a cup of water from vacuum tube and hose. Now reverse order the new vacuum breaker into place, slide the bottom tube on first (attach clamp) then push it toward the bowl onto the short tube. ( Make sure tubes are on as far as they will go) Take your time with replacing the clamp from vacuum breaker to toilet, feel that you have correct channel lock placement. When you open the clamp use your free hands finger tip on opposite side of channel locks to help slide clamp into place as you slide with channel locks over tube. I did this in less than 5 minutes, first try. No leaks works great. Just make sure clamps are on correctly. Check for leaks. Then periodically check for leaks after next few uses to verify no small leak is present.

Our RV toilet was leaking. Thankfully we found the reason and the part to fix it. It was easy to replace. It is a very good quality item. We have not had any other issues since.

At the ordering of this product my vacuum breaker was leaking every time I used the pedal flush on my toilet. At the same time I decided to install a Luxe Neo 185 Bidet, when I turned off the water to install a diverter with added 1/2" line & turned the water back on the vacuum breaker stopped leaking. So when I do actually install another plastic vacuum breaker I will let you all know how it works...for now it is an emergency backup. Long story short, if you have a leaky vacuum breaker, try turning water off & bleeding the line, then turn water back on to see if this fixes your leaking vacuum breaker. 🤪 Sometimes my brain doesn't think fast.
