My new-build fence was one of those builder grade fences - almost a set piece really. After a windy day, I had four posts that were leaning about 25° into my neighbor’s yard. I propped the fence up from my neighbor’s side and used a rubber mallet to slam these into the ground by the posts. These are incredibly rigid and surprisingly strong. I got the fence back to level in a quick morning project. They look great once in place as well. Exactly what I needed. Perfect solution for a decent price.

I only figured they were made for posts in the dirt after I tried to use then on my posts set in cement. It Dawned on me that if I attach a redwood 2x4 it might come out enough to miss the concrete. I Gorilla glued the 2x4 to the post and used 6, 3 inch exterior screws to mate them together. Then used longer lag bolts to into the post. The first one worked ok. The second one, shown in photos, worked great. Use your ingenuity and these will get it done. Super sturdy.

On the plus side: the brace appears to be well made and is very sturdy. It is by far better than the braces that I purchased in the past at Lowe’s and on Amazon as it is so much easier to install and far much much sturdier. In fact, I ordered two more after installing the first one.On the negative side: the drill bit that is provided is pretty bad; I suggest you use your own.The hole on the bottom is in my opinion impractical as most wooden posts are leaning because they are rotting at the point where they contact the ground and lower so why screw into soft wood? It is also too low to easily drill and screw into; it should probably be a few inches higher. Having said that, I do not think that a 4th screw adds any value. While it is pretty easy to figure out how to install it, there are no directions in the box BUT, they do show you how to install it on the same page that you ordered it on. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

I installed the AKINGKONG Thicker Fence Post Repair Kit on a fence post that had rotted at the base. The fence was still attached to the other posts so it was just this one post that needed fixing. Unfortunately this repair kit didn't work as it was pulled out of the ground just by the tilt of the fence. It's beefy and well made but it simply didn't work for my repair.

These are very strong welded brackets but are a waste of money if simply driven into the ground. I have 6 foot solid redwood fences and live in a windy area. I dig 18" post holes and place the brackets into concrete. They are solid as a rock and eliminate the need to disassemble the fence to replace the the post. I am very satisfied with the product and am ordering four more brackets just to have them on hand.

Well made and heavy enough to be effective. Easy to drive into the ground

I’ve used two of these for different positions along my neighbors fence line. I highly recommend for stabilizing any fence post that may be leaning or slightly unstable. Installs in less than a minute and works miracles.

After digging up and putting a new post in a few times, this was so much easier!!! It only took a few minutes to put in, no problem at all :-) No problem disturbing the rest of the fence/lattice :-) I was quoted a price $200 more for just one post reinforcement, but this seems pretty secure! I would of prefered a bit larger or longer screws in the package, but so far I'm happy with the result!!!! I plan to buy again whenever there is a need in the future :-)

These posts are the real deal and came exactly as promised with the bolts, drill and a few extras ( thank-you). Extremely well constructed. They do exactly as they promise to do. I put in 6 with a small sledge and drill in about 9O minutes on a very heavy sagging fence and not is almost perfectly straight. Key is to watch You Tube to understand the importance of ratcheting the fence straight before beginning. Thankfully I have a ratchet winch and a nice neighbour. Used one of the six posts I bought as the anchor for ratcheting until I did the last one.

These worked very well for my application. The only improvement I would make is making the in-ground end longer so it has a chance to get below the frost line. Otherwise, easy to use, secure, and provided decent strength. Thanks!

Way better than ripping two fence sections down and rebuilding them so I can relocate a weakening post! This bracket did the job!
