Since receiving this, it has become my tool of choice for maintaining my 1911. I use it at home and take it with me to the range. Wherever my guns go, the Real Avid 1911 tool is in hot pursuit.This is a great multi purpose tool with the exception of the following which needs QC and/or improvement.1. The angled pick tool needs to be hardened. It easily bends and is only useful in cleaning situations.2. The punch doesn’t stay screwed on and is constantly coming loose and falling off from use or being carried in my bag.3. The file on the bottom of the screwdriver bit socket is useless. It’s not coarse or long enough.4. The knife is useless on this tool and doesn’t fully lock into place without manipulation to ensure it doesn’t come back at cut you. Replace it with a 3 sided, multi surface file like on the Leatherman Wave.5. QC is desperately needed on the screwdriver bits. The spring and bearing fell out of the 1/8 slotted bit and now falls out of the bit socket and storage. Where can I purchase a replacement?If these minor issues were to be resolved, this would be a true 1911 multi tool replacement. This tool has promise and deserves to live up to its full potential.

I got this kit for my first upholstery project. The stapler worked fine, and it came with lots of different staples. I've upholstered 2 arm chairs and 2 dining room chairs and I haven't run out yet, so that's great. I did find that you have to press down pretty hard when using the stapler and whatever you're stapling needs to be parallel to the floor--if it's perpendicular, then the stapler has a tendency to slip either up or down and you don't hit the right spot, also I need just need to be able to press straight down for a stapler to even come out. I took off a star because the stapler remover broke pretty quickly and I had to get a new one. It wouldn't take out a staple and the whole metal part under the staple bent pretty far. The next one I bought has taken out all the staples I've used it with with no problems, so I don't think that the stapler was just stuck in the wood too tightly. If I keep upholstering furniture, I'll probably upgrade to an electric staple gun.

This is a picture my client shared with me as I was reupholstering his dining room chairs. Thank goodness I didn’t ultimately have to remove all of the previous staples, as I initially thought, for I cut myself pretty bad from that and was trying hard not to bleed on the fabric; had to walk away from that for at least a few days to start forming scabs.I like that it came with a variety of staples, but I might be needing more of the industrial sized ones soon for how many of those I used on the bottoms of these. As opposed to how the tops had been stapled at the bottom, this time I sewed those up with a blind hem instead.

I just opened this box months after purchasing and pulled on the trigger only for it to snap. Purchase with caution.

The stapler is great, but I am ready to throw it away. I cannot find out what staples to buy. I refuse to waste more money buying staples that I am not sure will work. I have put out the question what staples to buy and nobody knows. I cannot get a straight answer. I am going to call this a loss and just trash the staple gun and buy one that the sell can tell me what staples that will work!!

Got this for making wall decor. Didn't want to spend too much. This is a great kit. It has everything you need. I'm very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend.

Lo que no me gusta es que se despercian muchas grapas ... estuve grapando en playwood y se doblan por el centro... ajuste la presión a varios niveles y siguió el desperdicio...tal vez es falta de práctica, pero se supone que es algo sencillo por lo que no creo que sea el mal uso
