I've tried MANY sealants over the years, including making my own. Latex based ones always seem to work best overall and this one is latex based. Most latex based sealants use the same basic formula and really only differ in the additives and fillers. That's why they smell the same, feel the same, are basically white, etc. They're just liquid latex of varying quality diluted with water and usually other liquids to preserve them and slow evaporation. The ratios vary, some add fragrance, some add foaming substances, and most add various chunks to help plug holes.Pretty much every single one I've used has no problems at all sealing basic punctures from thorns, goat heads, nails, screws, etc. The ability to plug cuts is where they differ. Too much glycol slows evaporation which makes sealing take longer but also makes the sealant last longer. It also makes the mixture less sticky making larger cuts less likely to seal. Magic additives are often touted - everything from carbon fiber to glitter and microspheres. In my experience, they can help but also result in the sealant forming balls (aka Stanimals) of coagulated sealant in your tire.Anyway, this sealant (at least the bottle I received) was mostly devoid of chunks and I prefer it that way! It doesn't plug up the injector tube as easily, still seals any puncture with ease, and hopefully won't clump up as much in the tire (time will tell). No sealant will ever be able to plug a significant cut or torn sidewall, so I just carry a needle and thread for that and it ALWAYS works. In a race, the various plugs you can jam into a tire are still totally hit or miss and temporary at best. When it comes to tire sealant, in my opinion, you should just get something that is fairly priced, seals punctures, and lasts until the tire is worn out. As far as I can tell at the moment, this sealant fits the bill. Don't waste time or money searching for magic clot-forming chunks that really just make a mess. Just top off your tires regularly (once a month) with a basic latex sealant like this one and ride.

I got the bottle without the injector. So far I've been happy with this sealant. I live in an area with a lot of thorns and tubeless tires are a must around here. This sealant seals little thorn punctures with no worries at all. I haven't had any larger punctures yet, but I will report back if I do.This would be a good sealant to use if you have a 2nd or 3rd bike that you don't ride very often, but still want to ride tubeless. You'll have the protection of sealant at a lower cost.

This is a great set for anyone who wants to set up their own tubeless tires. The "injector" consists of a large 3.4 ounce syringe (with ml and oz markings on the side) paired with a thin tube that screws into the end of the syringe; the other end of the tube screws into your valve stem. I tested it, and it works perfectly. The injector is especially good for beginners, as you can measure the tire sealant exactly using the syringe (the syringe will hold just enough sealant for a 29 x 2.5 mountain bike tire) and then inject the sealant into your mounted tire without making a mess. This injector is a much better way to add sealant than the way some other brands do it (squeezing the sealant through the nozzle of the plastic bottle that contains the sealant). Bonus feature: Thinvik claims that this sealant works to -20 C degrees, which is better than a lot of other sealants.

Ordered for my first tubeless setup. Easy to follow instructions. It's been over a month and several hard rides along with periods of sitting in the very cold weather. The tires have held air pressure with no problem. Sealant seems to be doing a great job. Admittedly, the tires aren't even tubeless rated and it's still holding great. Good price too compared to alot of other brands.

Just replaced a rear tire and needed some new sealant so hopped on this brand without knowing anything about it. I've not had any punctures yet to test it's sealing ability but consistency and smell are identical to what I've used before so I've got some confidence it's the same stuff in a different bottle. I did pour a little out when I was filling and it gummed up, so at least we know it's reactive to air like it should be!

Needless to say, having sealant in your bicycle tires can be a saver when you rode 10-15 miles away from your car and you suffer a puncture. The contents of the bottle are well enough to fill the tires in my MTB 5 and a half times, almost 1.5 years of continuous riding. The sealant is white in color, my bike came from the shop with blue sealant, the consistency(viscosity) is the same. I did not test the tire with a puncture but time will tell. The liquid used for the photo formed a rubber layer on the cardboard a few minutes later. This kit arrived with sealant, syringe, adapter to fill trough the valve without removing the tire, another adapter to add the liquid into the tire without a mess and a plastic to safely remove the air valve.Well recommended.

Used this on my most recent top-up of sealant on my gravel bike, and it seems to be holding great - no loss in air pressure over the last few days - and it was easy to apply. There are a lot of tubeless sealants available and most of them do the job just fine, so the main comparison is price and how easy it is to use. This one seems like a decent value and was easy to work with - pleased with this product so far.

Now, I haven't had a puncture yet so the jury is still out and I am not going to start trying to put holes in my Vittoria Corsas, so there is that. But the sealant is very fluid and makes topping off an existing tubeless setup super simple. The sealant flows super easy in the included syringe. I have had issues with mucoff clogging a syringe in the past and it was a pain. I'll update after the next few rides and let you know any negatives if there are any.
