Trackmaster Thomas trains never failed us. They've actually gotten better over time, and I'd say these models are the prime stage.

Good gift of Percy. Suggest purchasing rechargeable batteries, as we can go through them in a day from constant play and my toddler leaving it on. This is well-made! My child has had this for several weeks and is pretty rough with it and it has not broken yet. Runs well on any flat surfaces.

This doesn't fit the wooden tracks which is unfortunate since those are the tracks we have. However i looked around and don't think they make any that do. So I kept this and my kid still likes playing with it on the floor or on the parts of the wooden track where it does fit. (It can drive on the straight parts of the wooden tracks but is too big to handle curvy parts and doesn't fit inside bridges.)

My grandson loves these books I got him for christmas. He loves to color and the pictures in the book to color are great. It's the first thing he goes to play with when he wakes up and the last thing before going to bed. I highly recommend for any thomas the train fans out there.

This Percy was cheaper than most of the motorized Thomas trains, and I’m not sure why. But I’m glad for it! Works perfectly on my son’s Christmas track, so it made a perfect Valentine’s Day present!
