The tone and projection of these Medium C/G Cello strings are superb - especially in 1st position. However, once I need to play a low F sharp and up on the C string, it deteriorates quickly ("soft/squishy"). It works out OK for whole//half/quarter notes from F -> G, but "mushy" on 8th note runs up there past F. I can articulate much better with Helicores up there but lose the bottom end projection these Spirocores provide that a string section needs for a full chord sound.

Came bent in, looks used. Packaging was sloppy and not sturdy enough to protect any sort of string like this. Even when I ordered a replacement the packaging was flimsy.

The string package was open while arrived. Very dirty and old paper package bag. Looks old and used.
