the stock early throttle linkage has plastic ball sockets that get very loose with age cheap easy solution to that problem worked well on my VE pump swapped blazer

Pictured is an example of new part compared to OEM. As well as against throttle body to the best of my ability to get a decent picture. If you didn’t realize, you will have to drill out the OEM studs to get these to work.

Nice light weight and all nuts to install were supplied. Note that you may have to drill out the ball stud on the throttle cable pivot end as mine is a press fit. I used the original rod end for that side and the new rod end and ball stud on the VE pump side.Note the all thread rod is a barely long enough section. It needs a 1/2 inch longer rod to be real secure. I was able to install it but I will be replacing the threaded rod with a slightly longer piece. OVerall satisfied.

I wish the rod was a little longer. I had less that a quarter of an inch of thread inside the ends when I got it adjusted.

I was only able to use part of the product.Because the shaft is about an inch and a half shorter than the stock one, I was only able to use on of the end pieces.I couldn't use both end pieces because the original shaft has reverse threads on one side, so I had to use the original shaft and one original end piece. Not very happy.
