Throttle position sensor tps mainly used in engine electronic fuel injection systems and electronically controlled automatic transmission systems.
It is used to monitor the air intake of a engine and input position signal into the electronic control unit and control different fuel injection quantities and ignition timing.

The TPS sensor worked very well after getting the voltage adjusted correctly. It did take about 5 to 10 minutes for the Polaris control module to recognize it and allow the engine to run properly. Top speed after TPS failed was 20 MPH. Now able to get to 45 MPH.

The TPS is nothing but a potentiometer - a variable resistor that takes a 5VDC reference from the ECO and returns a voltage to the ECO that represents the throttle position. This TPS is open circuit. It should read between 4Kohm and 6Kohm between the black and yellow wires - this reads many Mohms. Zero quality control - will be sending it back.

Hooked it up to volt tester to check the resistance and it was way off not to mention didn’t fix my issue, bought the OEM and it worked great…

Went to a dealer to get it adjust and it just ain't working...tried to test it if I got some Ohms reading changes but nothing. Constant 5v reading from computer even if turned uninstall. Get the real thing... will need a refund.
