- A thrust bearing is a particular type of rotary bearing. Like other bearings they permanently rotate between parts, but they are designed to support a predominantly axial load, they give very good carrying capacity.
- The separable components of thrust ball bearings are interchangeable. This facilitates mounting and dismounting and maintenance inspections.
- Thrust Ball Bearings have consisted of a shaft washer, a housing washer, and a ball and cage assembly.
- They are designed to accommodate axial loads and locate a shaft axially, in one direction only, and must not be subjected to any radial load.
- Chromium Steel (GCr15) Shaft and Housing Washer provide high and uniform hardness and good wear resistance.

These thrust bearings work very well as is but work much better after a break in period and some lubricant.The materials are high quality and come together to create a very good bearing, tho lubricant and a small break in period is needed to truely see how well these bearings work.All in all a great choice for hobbyists of all crafts.

Good qualty smooth action decent price.Fantastic upgrade addition to pullers/ installer tools.Effortlessly press or remove bearings, race, cups.Thrust bearings should be a standard for this type of tool. Reduces metal to metal binding.Highly recommended efficientcy.

The top race and bottom race are NOT same diameter i combined 2 bearings to make one.

These 12mm bore thrust bearings seem up to the job for the money. You can tell they are towards the lower cost end of things but the quality of the machining is all decent, with a clean finish and sized to spec.Best suited to low speed or enclosed applications I think due to the lack of any external sealing. The bearings do feel nice and smooth though with a little grease.Overall no complaints, and fairly decent value I think.

Well made with tight tolerances. Rotation is smooth. Decent quality at a decent price (8.99 for set of 4 at time of writing).

these bearings come in 3 pieces as expected .they are advertised as 1" or 25 mm bore. one race is 1.2 and the other is .95 neither is 1". pointless and useless waste if my time and money ( my customer went elsewhere - thanks.
